Benefits of AI

Why Solvane

Competitive Advantages Worth Examining

We are not the only AI services firm in Malaysia โ€” but we are among the few with a transparent methodology, fixed-fee engagements, and a policy of thorough documentation on every project.

Core Advantages

What You Get When You Work With Solvane

Fixed-Fee Engagements

Every project has a published price. No hourly billing, no scope creep charges without prior discussion. You know the cost before you commit.

Malaysia-Specific Context

We build for Malaysian conditions โ€” PDPA requirements, Bank Negara guidelines, local supply chain realities, and the cultural context of working with Malaysian teams.

Defined, Short Timelines

Our longest engagement is 8 weeks. You get a working system on a defined schedule โ€” not an open-ended retainer with unclear milestones.

Named Delivery Leads

Your project has a named senior team member responsible for delivery. No anonymous project teams, no offshore handoffs without your knowledge.

Thorough Documentation

Every project closes with model documentation, usage guides, and maintenance instructions. What we build, you can understand, maintain, and build upon.

No Dependency Lock-In

We do not build systems that require our ongoing involvement to function. The goal is your independence, not your subscription to our services.

In Detail

Each Benefit, Explained

Professional Expertise in AI Deployment

Solvane's team draws on direct experience in compliance systems development, demand forecasting, and enterprise technology delivery. We have worked inside organisations facing the same challenges our clients bring to us โ€” so our understanding of the problem is not purely theoretical.

We focus on three service areas intentionally. Depth in a specific domain produces substantially better outcomes than broad generalist capability spread across every possible AI application.

Senior team involvement in every engagement

Direct experience in regulated Malaysian industries

Three focused service areas, not a general AI catalogue

Honest assessment when a use case is not ready

Modern ML pipelines with interpretable outputs

Integration with existing enterprise systems where possible

Model monitoring plans included in delivery

Tool selection based on your infrastructure, not our preferences

Technology and Tooling

We select technology based on what suits your infrastructure and team, not what we are most comfortable with or what generates the best margin on tooling. Where possible, we build on open-source frameworks with strong community support and predictable maintenance paths.

We do not hard-sell cloud platforms or proprietary AI products. If a simpler, more maintainable solution achieves your goals, that is what we build.

Client Service Standards

We respond to client messages within one business day. Project updates are scheduled, not sporadic. If we identify a risk or change to scope, we raise it in the next scheduled touchpoint โ€” or sooner if it is time-sensitive.

After handover, we provide a post-delivery support window during which you can raise questions about what was built. We want the transition from our team to yours to go smoothly.

One business day response commitment

Scheduled project update calls

Named senior contact for each engagement

Post-delivery support window included

Published, fixed prices โ€” no hidden costs

Entry point at RM 650 for the Readiness Scorecard

No retainer required unless you choose one

ROI framed in operational terms, not abstracted metrics

Value and Pricing

Our prices are published and fixed. The AI Readiness Scorecard at RM 650 is designed as a low-commitment starting point for organisations that are not yet certain about AI investment. Compliance monitoring and inventory optimisation are priced at RM 3,400 and RM 2,900 respectively โ€” covering the full eight-week delivery.

We do not require ongoing retainer arrangements. Some clients choose to extend post-delivery, but that is their decision to make.

Results and Outcomes

Our projects are evaluated against the success criteria established in the scoping brief. For compliance monitoring, that typically means detection rate, false positive rate, and dashboard usability. For inventory work, it means forecast accuracy and reduction in overstock or stockout events.

We do not claim outcomes we cannot measure. Where a result depends on factors outside our control โ€” such as data quality or operational changes โ€” we say so in the scoping document.

Success criteria defined in scoping brief

Measurable metrics agreed before delivery starts

Dependency risks documented at scoping

Post-handover evaluation support available

Distinctive Features

What Sets Us Apart

Scoping Brief as a Contract

We formalise the scoping conversation into a written brief that both parties sign. This document defines what is in scope, what the deliverables are, and what conditions need to be met for the project to proceed. No ambiguity.

Readiness-First Entry Point

The AI Readiness Scorecard allows organisations to assess their actual situation before committing to larger projects. We are comfortable advising that an organisation is not yet ready โ€” and what to address first.

Compliance-Native Development

Rather than retrofitting privacy and compliance requirements at the end, we build them in from the start. Data handling protocols, model audit trails, and access controls are part of the initial architecture, not afterthoughts.

Embedded Knowledge Transfer

We schedule knowledge transfer sessions throughout delivery โ€” not just at the end. This means your team builds understanding of the system as it is built, making the final handover substantially more effective.
